Soil Moist Fines is a soil amendment designed to reduce plant waterings by 50%, reduce transplant shock and soil compaction, and will remain effective in the soil for 3-5 years.  It is an inexpensive form of insurance for the plant and is environmentally friendly.   Soil Moist saves time, labor and plant loss.

This product is intended to be used as a root dip.  Mix 1 Tablespoon (1/2 oz) with one gallon of water, mixing vigorously into a slurry.  Dip the roots of your plugs prior to planting for a more successful transplanting experience.

 

Keep out of drains.  This product is intended to be used as a dip or mixed into the soil at a depth of 3-5".  Do not apply this product as a topdressing.

When I ordered the initial grass plugs, I ordered some of the Soil Moist. Planting the plugs was very easy and by dipping the plugs into the soil moist, the plugs were given an excellent start. They have been planted about 3 weeks and are doing great.

Had to pull out plugs and replant plugs , the soil moist definitely helped because I wasn't able to do it right away and the plugs held up when replanting a second time.

TOP NOTCH PLUGS

This is my 2nd order from Paul at NC Grass Plugs and they are top notch. I have put out 5 or 6 trays of El Toro to fill in weak areas. This year I added a tray of Compadre. The trays I set out last year have taken off nicely. Paul is a great person to work with and has always replied to my emails in a quick manner.
