SINCE YOU ASKED
The NC Grass Plugs list of Frequently Asked Questions
Q:  When will I receive my order of plugs?
A:  Grass plugs will be shipped on Monday through Thursday by UPS Ground shipping.  Typically, anything in the eastern half of the US should receive their order in 1 to 3 days, and up to 4 to 5 days in areas located in the western half of the US.

Q:  Can you ship plugs anywhere?
A:  No, we can only ship plugs to physical addresses (no P.O. Boxes) and only to certain states.  We do not ship plugs to HI, AK, AZ, CA, CO, KS, OR, NM, NV and WA or outside of the lower 48.  We do not recommend planting any warmseason grasses north of the transition zone.
Q:  How many plugs can I buy?
A:  Each unit of order is either 38 or 50 plugs, or 1 flat/tray.  You can order as many trays as you want.

Q:  How large are your plugs and how much area do they cover?
A:  Our plugs are cylinder shaped, ~2" in diameter and 2" in depth.  We recommend plugs be planted 12” apart (zoysia and centipede), however, you my place them closer together for faster establishment.  Bermuda plugs can be planted farther apart due to its fast spread rate.
Q:  How do you plant your grass plugs, is there a special tool?
A:  We use specially made plug trays, these plugs fit the ProPlugger or auger tool perfectly.  Just step on the ProPlugger, twist and pull to make the perfect hole.  The plugger will collect and hold about 20 plugs of dirt that you just empty from the top.  Literally, these are the easiest and fastest plugs on the market, to plant.  Place a plug in the hole, step on it and it's ready for water and fertilizer.  With the auger, use a drill to make a hole 2” deep. Place the plug in and step on it firmly.

Q:  What is your refund/change/return policy?
A:  All sales are final, we cannot change, refund or return any order that has been fulfilled.  Please verify the ship to address before submitting the order.  We can modify the order up to the point of fulfillment.
