2" (1.96" actual) diameter X 17.5" long Grass Plug Auger
This auger makes the perfect sized hole for our 50 cell grass plug trays. We made it longer and with better quality than those you'd find at other nurseries. Fits any standard drill.

*This auger is just a little too small to make a hole for our 38 cell plugs. You'll need to purchase the ProPlugger planting tool for all 38 cell trays of grass plugs.

Using the appropriate plugging tool, create the hole for the grass plug.
- 38 cell plug trays use the ProPlugger planting tool to create the hole. Just step on the the plugger to a depth of 2", twist and pull out the plug of soil.
- 50 cell plug trays use the Drill Auger to create the hole. Just attach your auger to any drill and use it to create a 2" deep hole.
Next, remove the plug from the grow tray. The root ball can be scored and/or dipped into Soil Moist root dip prior to planting. Place the plug into the hole you created and step on it to ensure that there are no air pockets in the soil.
You are now ready to fertilize, water and GROW! Check out this video
