Soil gets stored in the tool as you work and empties by turning the tool upside down. Depth Rings allow you to consistently dig perfect planting holes at 2 inch, 4 inch and even 6 inch deep. Avoid digging in dry or overly saturated soil.

This is the tool to which our 38 cell tray grass plugs fit. If you purchase a 50 cell tray then you will need to purchase the drill auger to make the correct sized hole.

Using the appropriate plugging tool, create the hole for the grass plug.
- 38 cell plug trays use the ProPlugger planting tool to create the hole. Just step on the the plugger to a depth of 2", twist and pull out the plug of soil.
- 50 cell plug trays use the Drill Auger to create the hole. Just attach your auger to any drill and use it to create a 2" deep hole.
Next, remove the plug from the grow tray. The root ball can be scored and/or dipped into Soil Moist root dip prior to planting. Place the plug into the hole you created and step on it to ensure that there are no air pockets in the soil.
You are now ready to fertilize, water and GROW! Check out this video
