Celsius WG Broadleaf and Grassy Weed Control for Warm Season Turf

Celsius® WG is an excellent broadleaf and grassy weed control for St Augustine, Bermuda, Zoysia, and Centipede grasses. It is an excellent choice in summer because it has no labeled heat restrictions. This newly available single-use pack takes all the guesswork out of weighing and measuring the product. Perfect for the DIY’er!

• Each 0.226 oz pack covers 4,000 sq ft at the low rate, and 2,000 sq ft at the high rate
• Active ingredients are Dicamba (57.4%), Iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium (1.9%), Thiencarbazone-methyl (8.7%)
• Controls more than 150 varieties of weeds
• Great for warm season grasses such as St. Augustine, without fear of damaging turf
• Non-Ionic Surfactant is recommended with Celsius

Product Description:

Celsius WG is a post-emergent herbicide that comes in the form of wettable granules, meaning that you mix in water to create a liquid spray. It is formulated to treat the broadest spectrum of weeds on the market, including many of your most difficult grassy and broadleaf weeds to control. 

Adding a non-ionic surfactant is recommended.

• Bull paspalum
• Carpetgrass
• Chamberbitter
• Common purslane
• Dallisgrass (suppression)
• Dollarweed
• Doveweed
• Florida betony
• Florida pusley
• Large crabgrass

• Prostrate spurge
• Spotted spurge
• Virginia buttonweed

Application Information:

This is a professional formulation and should be applied from a battery sprayer or pump sprayer.  Important: Always read and follow label instructions.  Please check with your local extension service to ensure registration status and proper use. 

NOTE: Do not mow immediately after treating with this product or before spray has dried. After treatment, do not transfer clippings to non-target areas.

Celsius WG can be used any time during the growing season on the following grass types:
Warm Season Lawns - Bermuda (including hybrid Bermuda), St Augustine (including Floratam), Zoysia, Centipede.

*NOT for use on Bahia grass or cool season turf types.

Note for previous customers: Up until this season we were carrying the larger bottle of Celsius through one of our partner distributors. However, the manufacturer has pulled back sales of this larger size through e-commerce channels and has now made these single-use packs available instead.

• Storage: Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. The product will store for 2 years under warehouse conditions.

Using the appropriate plugging tool, create the hole for the grass plug.  

• 38 cell plug trays use the ProPlugger planting tool to create the hole.  Just step on the the plugger to a depth of 2", twist and pull out the plug of soil.  
• 50 cell plug trays use the Drill Auger to create the hole.  Just attach your auger to any drill and use it to create a 2" deep hole.

Next, remove the plug from the grow tray.  The root ball can be scored and/or dipped into Soil Moist root dip prior to planting.  Place the plug into the hole you created and step on it to ensure that there are no air pockets in the soil.
