El Toro Zoysia Plugs

Got 2 trays of plugs they were great and are still looking great and starting to spread after a month

Who says you can't grow a warm-season grass in the cool-season zone? i ordered 1 tray of el toro plugs and the proplugger. all 38 plugs are looking good. photos and videos coming soon! it will take a few years to establish up here but those kbg, fescue, and ryegrass diehards don't think a warm-season lawn is a good idea here because of the dormancy period browning. i don't mind a brown lawn in the winter. i can't wait to prove el toro is superior to all cool-season cultivars for weed control, erosion
control, drought resistance, and shade tolerance.. i used a 20-0-20 granular fertilizer sprinkled over the plugs and the existing cool-season weed jungle of a lawn.. all plugs looking healthy! thanks Paul! nc grassplugs channel is great! you don't need to know anything about grass to plant the plugs. the proplugger ships fully-assembled. all you have to do is slip the ring over the base and it's
ready to go! Paul explains everything in the youtube videos. i am a beginner to lawn care. if i can do it, you can do it.. you don't need the additional chemicals to start. it's the cheapest DIY lawn care program. it takes patience, but that el toro will eventually take over and stay king of the yard!

Ordered 10 trays first time, then turned around and ordered 10 more. Quality is much better than supersod. Time will tell how well the plugs do, but so far i am impressed

I purchased my plugs 1 week ago, planted next day and watered in. My plugs are already putting out runners that are rooted in, very happy. Plan on doing more plugs next spring.
