0-0-7 Dithiopyr Pre-Emergent is a granular pre-emergent herbicide used to stop invading weeds and weedy grasses in lawns.

Product Description:
Dithiopyr is an excellent choice to prevent annual bluegrass (poa annua), Henbit, hairy bittercress, chickweed, and other annuals if you are NOT SEEDING/OVERSEEDING your lawn. It is a primary part of the fall strategy down south for longer protection due to milder winters.
Application Information:
The best time to apply Dithiopyr is when soil temperatures are below 70F and above 55F. This will give you approximately 4 months of pre-emergence protection if you follow the recommended application rate of 4lbs/1,000 sq ft.
You can use this pre-emergent in the spring or fall. It’s primarily used in the fall for anyone who has reached their annual maximum on Prodiamine.
Dithiopyr can be used on the following established grasses:
Cool Season Lawns - Kentucky Bluegrass, Turf Type Tall Fescue (all fescues), Ryegrass.
Warm Season Lawns - Common and Hybrid Bermuda, St Augustine, Zoysia, Centipede, Bahia.
